After many years of fund raising work started on a new Village Hall for the growing community of Ravenshead.  The hall foundation stone was laid by Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone in May 1968 and after what seemed only a short while, Ravenshead Village Hall was born and opened ready for business serving the growing community of Ravenshead. As can be seen from the photographs below the hall has a unique design that over the years has not really dated. The hall is held in trust by the Charity Commission for the community of Ravenshead.

The hall is Air Conditioned with a high ceiling and we have a large stage with theatre lighting and a small P.A. system and a large car park.
